About the BBFC Website

This website is designed and maintained by the BBFCs own Information Systems department.

The site is updated at least hourly with latest classification decisions. The customer Extranet is updated automatically from the BBFCs internal business systems at least every 15 minutes.

Please note that the site is viewed optimally with 1024 x 768 resolution although 800 x 600 and most other resolutions also work. Visitors using a Windows based PC can use Firefox 1, Internet Explorer 6 , Netscape 6 and Mozilla 1.4 or higher as their chosen browser without problems.

Extensive use is made of JavaScript and some, older, browsers may be unable to display pages properly.
